THE EFFECT OF HEALTH EDUCATION WITH AUDIOVISUAL MEDIA ON THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF EARLY DETECTION OF FIBROADENOMA MAMMAE (FAM) IN YOUNG WOMEN AT SMA IBRAHIMY WONGSOREJO

The lack of knowledge and skills young women about breast self-examination to detect fibroadenoma mammae is caused by the information among early detection mammae. purpose this study was determine effect health education with audiovisual media on level (FAM) in adolescent girls at SMA Ibrahimy Wongsorejo. This uses a quasi-experimental quantitative research design Non Equivalent Control Group Design method, Stratified Random Sampling technique obtained sample 125 students. dependent variable audiovisual, independent women. Data analysis used Wilcoxon test Mc Nemar test. results showed that intervention group there were 55 respondents (87.3%), while control 3 (4.8%). And it found who had qualified 63 (100%) 31 (49.2%). Test statistical tests significance value 0.000 (<0.05), can be concluded an Audiovisual effective for increasing because not only listen material given, but also see firsthand steps video.
